Farmers’ 2024 Holiday Gift Guide

December 3rd, 2024

Now that our yards are cloaked in a layer of snow, it’s time to find those final few (or first…we don’t judge!) gifts for friends and family. But let’s face it. Sometimes finding gifts that speak to each person on your list is stressful.

We’re here to help out! In this holiday guide, we’ve put together combinations of items that go well together. This offers direction but leaves space for personalization.

Of course, for those of you who appreciate a little more guidance, we’ve included brands that we love. So read on for some holiday gift basket inspiration!

The Cocktail Party

Put together a basket that’s perfect for people who love to entertain! Our stores have options for cocktails and mocktails, but if you don’t know your giftees preferences, stick with accompaniments such as olives, crackers, or trendy tinned fish.

Some of our favorite olive brands are Bono and Divina, which pair well with any fancy crackers, such as Fine Cheese Co.’s Rosemary and Extra Virgin Olive Oil or the gluten-free Savory Fig and Thyme Maine Crisps.

Complete the theme with savory charcuterie, such as Babette’s Table salami and any delectable cheese in our cases!

For an even fancier basket, add a ceramic Conservas dish that comes in adorable designs and choose your favorite tinned fish to serve in it. We love Matiz and Fishwife!

The Cozy Morning

There are few things better than cozying up with a steaming cuppa on a chilly morningsoft snowflakes dancing down to rest on your windowsill. So why not gift this comforting feeling to a friend, child’s teacher, or in-law?

Choose your favorite Farmers’ Coffee or a gorgeously gift-able box of Ajiri Tea. Each label on these boxes is handmade from dried banana leaves, making this a truly one-of-a-kind gift!

But what’s tea without honey? We find it hard to choose between the sustainable glass bottles and the adorable honey bears that contain However Wild’s Vermont honey, but you can’t go wrong with either one!

Round out the basket with a Farmers’ coffee mug and a bag of delicious, organic Back Roads granola made in Brattleboro, VT, and you’ve got a gift that evokes warmth and relaxation.

The Host/ess

For that person in your life who loves hosting the holiday get-togethers, consider gifting something that lasts a little longer than a bottle of wine. Why not curate a basket of useful, high-end, and long-lasting kitchen staples?

We suggest balsamics from Ritrovo, whichperhaps similarly to your host/hostessembraces the Italian interpretation of meals as a time for taking it easy, sharing, and being with others.

And what goes well with balsamic? Olive oil, of course! Try a gorgeous, aromatic oils such as L’Estornell’s organic EVOO.

Choose a few elegant add-ons, including hand-harvested sea salt from Maldon or quality, flavorful Haku shoyu (soy sauce) infused with Smoke or Sakura (cherry blossom). And, of course, feel free to supplement this gift basket with any of your favorite products for a personalized touch your host will love.

The Farmers’ Fan

We don’t mean to brag, but we think we have some pretty stellar merch and Farmers’-branded items! And for the Farmers’ fan in your life, this might just be the perfect gift set.

If you don’t want to bother with T-shirt sizes, pick out one of our beanies or beet hats!

Add a high-quality insulated travel or camp mugs, some Farmers’ Coffee, a bottle of Our Own Maple Syrup, and a few stickers to complete the basket. Or check out our new merch available online only!
