Do you know which state has the most breweries per capita? If you guessed Vermont, you’re right! Okay, that may have been the obvious choice given where we’re located, but do you know what else is an obvious choice? Choosing to Drink Green this March.
In the spirit of our majestic Green Mountain State and St. Patrick’s Day, we’re offering 15% off beers from four of our local breweries throughout the month! Check out who we’re celebrating this year.
Burlington Beer Company
Burlington Beer Company is an independent craft beer company out of, you guessed it, Burlington, VT. Their founder, Joe Lemnah, gained professional brewing experience in breweries around the East Coast. He started making homebrews and many of the Burlington Beer Company recipes developed from those brews.
Upper Pass Beer Company
Upper Pass Beer Company is the brainchild of the folks who also bring you First Branch Coffee. In 2015, they began brewing Upper Pass in a small farm building in Tunbridge but expanded to open a tasting room in South Royalton, VT. Try one of their most popular beverages such as Cloud Drop or sip on a seasonal drink like Mandarin Twilight.
von Trapp Brewing
von Trapp Brewing out of Stowe, VT first started in 2010 in the lower level of von Trapp Lodge’s Kaffehaus. It has since moved into a larger facility and provides Vermont and the surrounding area with excellent Austrian-influenced brews. Prost!
Zero Gravity
Zero Gravity is another brewery out of Burlington, VT. They have been around for around 20 years and use only the highest quality hops and malt. Their brews such as Green State Lager and Conehead are classics, but Powder Jones (if you can get your hands on it) is a specialty, citrusy IPA that will have you enraptured. Zero Gravity is committed to sustainability and donates to a different environmental organization every month!
See you at the Market!
