Store Reopening Update—Week 8

September 1st, 2023

Good morning!

I hope you’re enjoying this sunny and relatively dry weather. Our family spent last week camping in Maine and didn’t see a drop of rain. And things just keep getting better. I am here to report good news!

Good news

We continue to be on target for a mid-September grand reopening! All our amazing contractors are hustling to get things done. And our staff is really getting antsy and excited about helping serve you all some great food, bakery items, and outstanding products. Our farmers are getting pumped to deliver some late-summer local produce, fall plants, and decorative pumpkins. We have been lining up a ton of orders to come in the doors soon.

Good news

I am pleased to report that we are now suspending the Farmers’ Flood Fund. Thank you to all our customers around the country for contributing. We have collected, both online and through the mail, donations of over $200,000.

To repeat—this is absolutely stunning, and I cannot emphasize enough how important these early contributions are. To this date we have received zero dollars from the State or FEMA. AND—we have kept many of our staff on the payroll as we move into the ninth week of this federal disaster. To be able to survive during this time, it’s taken a village. You all out in TV Land deserve a real standing ovation. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

To celebrate our reopening, we are offering our new Welcome Back Gift Card—a preloaded gift card filled with great bonus rewards.

Here’s how it works:

-A $50 gift card purchase gets you a $55 gift card, plus a coupon for a free coffee.

-A $100 gift card purchase gets you a $110 gift card, plus coupons for a free coffee and sandwich.

-A $500 gift card purchase gets you a $550 gift card, plus coupons for a free coffee, sandwich, and Farmers’ T-shift.

This is a limited offer so get yours while they last. They will be mailed to you upon purchase.

Stay tuned for more exciting news coming next week.

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend!
