Our sampler contains three cheeses, approximately half pound each, thoughtfully displayed in an attractive WFM gift box.
- Cobb Hill Ascutney Mountain
Named after a breathtaking local peak, Ascutney Mountain, made in Hartland – considered a Woodstock “suburb” is an alpine-style cheese with a complex, nutty flavor. It was awarded a blue ribbon in 2006 by the American Cheese Society in the Farmstead Cheese category, which means that all the milk comes from their own farm. - Vermont Artisan Gouda from Shadagee Farmstead in Craftsbury Common, Vermont.
A creamy, ivory colored, lactic semi firm paste with a lingering taste of creme fraiche or buttermilk. - Consider Bardwell Farm Pawlet
Raw Jersey cow milk is the basis of this Italian-style toma, which is aged four to six months. A creamy texture and bright bite makes this a great sandwich cheese or an appetizer with broad palate appeal. A versatile cheese, like the town of Pawlet, VT which brings us slate, syrup, and timber.
**Due to the limited availability of some of our cheeses at different times of the year, we substitute different cheeses when necessary. Thank you for your understanding.
