Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Round up your purchase to the nearest dollar and we’ll donate the difference to local organizations providing relief to those suffering from the economic impact of COVID-19.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is an easy way to help support your community members in need. We launched this special fundraising initiative in response to the growing number of people in our community who are unable to meet their basic household needs of food and shelter due to the COVID-19 crisis.

How Can I Help?

When you shop at Farmers’, you’ll be asked at the register whether you’d like to round up your order to the nearest dollar. Donations will be evenly distributed between the Woodstock Community Food Shelf and the Woodstock Area Relief Fund. Both of these organizations are doing the important work of supporting individuals and families who are cash-strapped due to the impact of COVID-19.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide a round-up option on Farmers’ Curbside orders.

Read a recent WFM blog post to learn more about the work of the Woodstock Area Relief Fund.

We’ve learned through other round-up programs at the Market, such as Harvest for Hunger and Harvest for Heroes, that every penny counts. When we come together as a community, each one of us giving our little bit, we can make a real impact in the lives of others.

Thank you to everyone who is out there making a difference, from our hard-working volunteers to generous donors. We live in a truly remarkable community with a history of caring for one another during times of crisis. We appreciate you and every cent that you are able to give.

Stay well, stay healthy.
