Tasting with Eden Speciality Ciders
July 6 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Hard cider is nothing new for old-time Vermonters. It’s part of our state’s agricultural history. But for the modern market, it’s the new rage. Eden Specialty Ciders are made way up in the Northeast Kingdom, in Newport, Vermont. This family-owned cidery uses New England heirloom varieties, local seedling varieties, and Old-World varieties, including bittersweet cider varieties that originated in France and England. Their apples come from a small selection of orchards in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Quebec. Hard cider has a LONG history in New England. Come give it a try!
