- Due to the enormous expense, Alaska & Hawaii have different shipping rates. Please call for our rates to those areas.
- At this time, we are unable to ship to APO/FPO addresses.
- International Shipments: Sorry, we currently don’t ship across either pond, to Canada, or to Puerto Rico. We will keep you posted if anything changes.
- Please call for Overnight Priority rates. Real time UPS Overnight Rates will be used per address minus the cost of regular ground shipping calculated based on the above shipping chart. Overnight Priority is next business day. Orders must be received by 2pm Eastern Standard Time.

Cheese boxes purchased on Wednesdays after 2 pm will be held for Monday shipping to avoid sitting in a UPS warehouse over the weekend. We want our cheese to stay in great shape! So do your recipients.
In Store Shipping
We absolutely ship grocery items from our store! There is a $10 assembly fee for that service. If there is cheese involved which requires special handling, additional fees may be added. This will be added onto the shipping and cost of the items at checkout at our register. If you are phoning in a grocery order, we will add our assembly fee and any other additional packing fees onto your credit card at the time of purchase.
The map below shows typical UPS Ground “transit” times to various parts of the country (not guaranteed times). A note to our New England shoppers: For overnight delivery, please choose regular UPS Ground; typically, UPS Ground ships throughout New England in 1-2 business days.

Placing Orders: Orders may be placed 24 hours a day, seven days a week via our secure web site. Telephone orders can be placed Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm (eastern time). Promotion Codes: We frequently offer online promo codes to our customers in Market flyers, Tweets, online newsletters, our Blog or Facebook updates. Only one promo code may be used per order.
Processing: We receive and process orders within 24 to 48 hours. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday via UPS. Please note that some orders placed on Thursdays and Fridays will not ship until the following Monday (especially perishables). When choosing expedited shipping or placing a very large order, please keep in mind it may take up to 48 hours to process. If you need your order on a specific date, please include your request in the gift notes section at checkout. We are happy to include a hand written gift card if requested, with no additional charge.
Note: We only ship cheese Monday through Wednesday to ensure arrival before the weekend. We want your food to stay in great shape! Cheese hates hanging out in a warehouse over the weekend.
Recycled Packaging: We hate packing peanuts and those puffy air packets, but we get loads of them when products are shipped to us. So rather than buy more and encourage the styrofoam industry, we recycle them and other packing materials when we send your order to you. Please consider passing them on to someone else when you unpack your box so that they don’t end up in a landfill somewhere (local Pack-and-Ship places sometimes take them).
Payment Options: Woodstock Farmers’ Market accepts the following credit cards on orders placed on our web site: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Cash, checks or money orders are not accepted. Prices in our store do not reflect the cost of delivery. We do not ship C.O.D. Sales taxes will automatically be added to any applicable purchases.
Our Guarantee: We have chosen products we love and hope they please you as well. All of our mail order products are also sold in our store. Our goal is to have you absolutely satisfied with our products, service and delivery. If we don’t meet that goal and you are dissatisfied in any way, please contact us and we’ll make it right!

Return Policy: If the item you order arrives damaged or spoiled, we will gladly replace it. However, due to the nature of perishable products, we are unable to assume the loss incurred by delays due to an incorrect shipping address; the recipient’s absence for more than a day after delivery; or incorrect handling on the part of the recipient. Packages are clearly marked “perishable” on the outside to avoid nasty surprises.
Out of Stock Items, Weather, Price Changes and Other Unpleasant Facts of Life: We try to keep all items in stock at all times, but due to the nature of perishables, sometimes we may be temporarily out of a product. We will make suitable substitutions of equal or greater value when we can, or will be happy to send the item later when it becomes available. In either case, we will contact you and ask for your preference. When a product costs us more than it did before, we try to absorb the difference if we can. But due to the vagaries of ingredient, packaging and shipping costs, we will sometimes find it necessary to raise prices before we get a chance to update our site. Sorry about that. We’ll do our best to keep you informed when the price change is significant. We try to cut cheese with laser-like accuracy, but if you’ve ever tried to cut something to an exact weight you know that you’re likely to be off by a few hundredths of a pound. Us too. We will be as close as we can, and won’t charge you for the difference. Because we love our products so much, we want the best for them on their journey to you, and want them to arrive in optimum condition. Therefore, we may delay shipping some items when it’s really hot or really cold.Â We will let you know.Â If we need to ship items to you during warmer months and the items really won’t make it unless they are chilly, we have a hot weather option package forÂ $10.Â This often includes insulated boxes and/or cold packs. We will let you know via telephone or email if this is necessary.
Gift Certificates: Gift certificates purchased online are shipped via USPS and are only redeemable at the Woodstock Farmers’ Market in Woodstock, Vermont (not online). Gift certificates can also be purchased in our Woodstock Market during normal store hours.
