Harvest for Heroes

Round Up for CHaD

Another fantastic Harvest for Heroes campaign is in the books! This fall we raised a total of $5,153 for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD). The grand tally includes monies collected through our round-up program and left in the donation boxes, plus $1,000 donation from the Market. Nice work, everyone!

Every fall the hospital puts on their biggest fundraiser of the year—CHaD Hero, an athletic event that raises money for kids and families receiving care at the hospital. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, this year’s event was held virtually, Oct. 4-18.

Every year we support the cause through our Harvest for Heroes round-up campaign. All funds collected during the campaign are donated to CHaD.

Next year you can support the cause by:

  • Rounding up your purchase to the nearest dollar, and we’ll donate the difference.
  • Placing cash or checks in the donation boxes at our registers.
  • Signing up for the event!

Why CHaD Matters

100% of CHaD HERO proceeds are used to help CHaD kids with critical services, such as support when they are in pediatric intensive care and management of chronic illnesses, as well as patient and family support services so important to the wellbeing of kids and their futures. Your support helps kids get back to the business of being kids! To learn more about the impact your CHaD HERO participation and fundraising can have for CHaD kids, click here.
