Shipping

We receive and process all orders within 24 hours. Orders are shipped Monday through Thursday via UPS. Please note that all orders placed on Thursday will ship the following Monday. We are happy to include a hand written gift card at your request, at no extra charge.

Please note: During certain months of the year, shipping perishable food becomes a challenge. Depending on the season (typically June-September; December-March) there may be certain items we advise you not to purchase or that may require overnight shipping. These items will be designated as such on the site or we will contact you directly to discuss your options.

Also note that we may require extra handling charges during the time of year when special care is necessary to make sure your purchases do not freeze or thaw. Additionally, if we have to split a shipment due to the perishable nature, we will notify you prior to shipping.

Shipping rates are based on "real time" using UPS's shipping calculator. Your actual shipping total is based on the destination and zip code, weight of the package and the shipping materials used from Woodstock, Vermont. Note that the shipping rates you see at check out are not necessarily the publsihed rates from UPS.

Sorry, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

The map below shows typical "transit" or shipping time to various parts of the country for standard UPS Ground. These are not guaranteed times. A note for our New England shoppers: for overnight delivery, please choose regular UPS Ground; typically, UPS Ground ships throughout New England in one or two business days.

 

Overnight Shipping and Saturday Delivery

We offer overnight shipping, and Saturday delivery which will add additional shipping fees.  Please call (802) 457-3658 ext. 242  by 1pm Eastern Time to arrange for overnight or Saturday deliveries.

Perishables

We want our products to arrive at your door in perfect condition. If you are shipping cheese, chocolate, coffee, tea or olive oil or other perishables between May and October into the brown states on the UPS map they must be shipped UPS 2nd Day Air. Please choose this option at checkout.  We may have to split shipments which include both perishable and non-perishable items. If a split shipment results in additional shipping charges we will notify you prior to shipping.  

International Shipments

Woodstock Farmer's Market can ship anywhere in the world, provided the customer assumes all shipping costs; taxes and tariffs. For specific information and assistance please contact mail@woodstockfarmersmarket.com or call (802) 457-3658, Ext 242.

We regret that at this time we are unable to ship to APO/FPO addresses.

Recycled Packaging

We hate packing peanuts, but get loads of them when products are shipped to us. So rather than buy more and encourage the styrofoam industry, we recycle them and other packing materials when we send your order to you. Please consider passing them on to someone else when you unpack your box so that they don't end up in a landfill somewhere (local Pack-and-Ship places sometimes take them).
