What a fantastic farm to table product!   100% of Tom Kenyon’s superior cornmeal mix contains corn grown on their gorgeous farm in Charlotte, Vermont—about an hour from the Market.  And if that’s not enough, they grow organic, open pollinated, heirloom varieties of corn that date back to the days of the American Indians. Even local bakeries like our favorite Red Hen Baking Company use their grains in their breads.

I knew it was good after tasting samples over the past weeks in the store but one night I recently I made the Sweet Corn Bread Cake (recipes included) that had me ooing and ahhing with my mouth full and head nodding like I was possessed.  And I made the cornbread too—needless to say it was everything one might think using organic, heirloom corn:  full flavored, crunchy and moist.  Even the pancakes I made were fluffy, yet hearty, crunchy and robust.  The whole grains and organic ingredients transport you into a new pancake dimension: eating them is actually good for you.
