Strawberry and Ginger Fruit Spread

Luca Montarsino, a famous Italian pastry chef, turned his hand to producing delicious specialties using all natural and healthy ingredients, many specifically for people with dietary restrictions.  In addition to many sugar-free specialties, he has developed a range of cookies and cakes without gluten, dairy, and other potential irritants, using only pure and healthy substitutions, and no artificial ingredients.

His delicious and unusual jams are an example: free from refined sugar, they are sweetened only with grape sugar, and flavored with the fresh fruit and natural ingredients named prominently on the front label.  Packaged in large gorgeous, stackable glass jars they make a great gift for the jam lover in your life.  The Strawberry and Ginger is my favorite of Montarsino’s creations: sweet strawberry fruit is tempered by the spiciness of ginger, and is equally delicious on toast, pancakes, pound cakes, or as a creative filling for a Linzer cookie.
