Comanzo's Biscotti

These are-no doubt-one of those foods that make our "top 10 items that you would absolutely have to have if you were stranded on a dessert island" list. These magnificent biscotti are the product of a little bakery in Smithfield , Rhode Island .

So what makes them different you ask?

They are hearty dunkers for sure. Perhaps it's the upfront butteryness and big almond flavor; perhaps it's the hint of citrusy essence or maybe even the sweetness (tiny pieces of raisins.how cool is that?). Frankly, it matters not as you dunk these happy campers in your favorite coffee or tea beverage. Buyer beware.one or two is about all you might be able to muster in one sitting, though I have been known to scarf down as many as half a box at a time-especially the chocolate dipped original. Then again, I've got a serious cookie issue from childhood in which years of therapy has not even cured.
